The Transportation Department of The Northern Area Companies provides para transit service to the City of Pittsburgh
and the suburbs of northern Allegheny County. Operating from 6:00 AM until 12:00 midnight 365 days a year, using
wheel chair lift vans and passenger vehicles, NAC Transportation is a contractor for the ACCESS Transportation
Systems, Inc. of Allegheny County, a division of the Port Authority.
NAC Transportation provides service for the following organizations:
-Northern Area Companies (NAC)
-Community Assistance Program of NAC
-Allegheny County Department of Aging
-Five (5) senior community centers of NAC
-ACCESS Transportation Systems, Inc. of Allegheny County
-Department of Public Welfare
